Dredging?

Unlike the dredging to expand Falmouth Docks, the Oysters in the Fal are caught sustainably by hand and by sail. The Oyster Festival draws in huge crowds from far and wide but it is being put at risk by the current plans which could spread toxic sludge across the Oyster’s precious habitat.

STOP THE DREDGE will be running stalls and events during this years festival, to make sure Oysters (and not toxic sludge) can be sustainably dredged for centuries to come.
